GERMANY Hanover’s municipal operator, üstra, has ordered 42 hybrid buses from Solaris. The order includes 26 Urbino 12s and 16 articulated Urbino 18 Hybrids. The delivery will be completed by 2016.

Volvo Buses receives largest ever hybrid order
CANADA Volvo Buses’ North American subsidiary, Nova Bus, has received an order for 475 hybrids, the largest ever signed by the group, from Quebec in Canada. Delivery of the LFS HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) buses will start in 2014. The order also encompasses an option for a further 1200 vehicles.
