Greenroad Optimises Service With New Features

GreenRoad has announced further development of its GreenRoad 360 system. The company says the new functionality, incorporating modification, suggested by customer feedback, extends its ability to deliver significant fuel efficiencies and reductions in crash incidents. The enhancements include posted speed performance, idling heat maps and extended data integration with new Application Program Interfaces (APIs):

Lothian Buses profits from passenger rise

Lothian Buses has reported an increase in profits to £13m from £8.5m. The figures for 2010 also show passenger numbers grew by 1.9% to 109m. The municipally-owned operator said the rise in profits was also achieved by “careful cost control” and a “favourable fuel hedge position”.
